Our beautiful 18 year old daughter was a senior in high school when she left us for her final homecoming with her Lord and Savior. She wrote in her journal she hoped God would take her to be with Him. We did not know the extent of her suffering from depression. She talked to a Christian counselor at our church. When he moved, she was very upset and said she did not want to talk to anyone else. Little did we know, she desperately needed to confide in a therapist who could help her with her depression. She thought she was bi-polar…another issue she wrote about in her journal. After an irritable, horribly bad week at school and an angry weekend day, her parents were upset with her. She left her home forever and went to be with her Heavenly Father. She wrote in her journal two days before she ended her life..”it hurts to be me..it hurts to be me…it hurts to be me…” We have our hope in Christ we will see our beautiful Anita again in the future when we are reunited in Heaven.
